Day 1 – Istanbul – Tuesday 22nd April
Welcome cocktail included
Welcome to Turkey, arrival into Istanbul. Transfer from airport & check in to your hotel. Welcome cocktail at 730pm at the hotel. Tonight we can take you to a welcome gala dinner with Traditional Turkish 1001 entertainment, an optional activity. You can meet our friendly crew and other travellers while enjoying traditional Turkish Food and enjoy the mystical atmosphere of Istanbul at night. The evening starts at 830pm.
Overnight at 3star Hotel in Istanbul.
Note!! Free transfers are available from Istanbul Ataturk Airport throughout today. Please confirm your flight details in advance. Transfers from Sabiha Gokcen Airport are at extra cost.

Day 2 – Istanbul City Tour – Wednesday 23rd April
Breakfast Included
We depart from the hotel at 08:30 for the Istanbul city tour. TOPKAPI PALACE The great palace of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries housing an exquisite collection of crystal, silver, and Chinese porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury, miniatures, the Holy Mantle; enshrining relics of the Prophet Mohammed. SULTANAHMET IMPERIAL MOSQUE Across from St. Sophia built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet, is known as the BLUE MOSQUE because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles.
HIPPODROME Ancient Hippodrome, the scene of chariot races, with the three monuments; the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. Lunch break and then we head to the SPICE BAZAAR (Egyptian Bazaar) The air here is filled with the enticing aromas of cinnamon, caraway, saffron, mint, thyme and every other conceivable herb and spice. After the tour you have the option to experience The Bosphorous Cruise. You will have the chance to enjoy magnificent views of Bosphorous which is connecting Asia to Europe. Tonight nearly every tour group will have arrived. We have a welcome ANZAC PARTY arranged to meet and greet the groups and tour guides. This is an optional activity, unlimited local drinks from 9-11pm! Overnight at 3star Hotel in Istanbul.

Day 3 – Gallipoli - Dawn Service – Thursday 24 April 2008
Breakfast and Lunch Included
We depart for Gallipoli at 07:00 (4.5 hour drive). On the way we will have the chance to watch the latest documentary on the Gallipoli Campaign. We arrive in Gallipoli for lunch. We will have a ANZAC lunch on the coast of Gabatepe. We then start our tour of the Gallipoli Peninsula. We visit Kabatepe War Museum, Anzac Cove, Lone Pine Australia’s Memorial and Cemetery, Quinns Post, Turkish 57th Regiment Cemetery, The Nek, Chunuk-Bair New Zealand Memorial and Cemetery. After the tour we drive to the coast of Gabatepe again for our big ANZAC BBQ buffet dinner (optional). Prior to dinner we will stop at a supermarket for additional supplies for our overnight stay at ANZAC Cove. To those who decline the fantastic buffet BBQ dinner, this will be your only stop for dinner also. After dinner at approx 21.30 pm we will depart for the Dawn Service. Overnight Anzac Cove.

Day 4 - Gallipoli Dawn Service – Friday 25 April 2008
Don't forget your sleeping bags, warm clothes, wet weather gear and torches because Gallipoli is still as dark and cold today as it was 93 years ago when your ancestors landed.

After the Services (approx 3pm) we will drive back to Istanbul (4.5 hour drive). Overnight 3star Hotel Istanbul.

Day 5 – Istanbul – End of Tour – Saturday 26 April 2008

THE BOSPHOROUS CRUISE
Only available on the 23rd April for Silver Tour Groups

A traditional excursion by boat along the waterway separating Europe and Asia. The shore is lined with old wooden villas, palaces of marble, fortresses, and small fishing villages. During the excursion you will pass the magnificent Dolmabahçe Palace, and further along, the parks and imperial pavilions of Yildiz Palace. On the coastal edge of this park, is Çiragan Palace, 300 meters of is marble facade faces the shore. At Ortaköy a great variety of artists gather every Sunday to display their work along the street. Ortaköy is a symbol of tolerance with a church, a mosque and a synagogue existing side by side for centuries.



ANZAC PARTY
Available on the evening of the 23rd of April (open to anyone thats coming to Turkey)

Come and join us to celebrate your arrival to Turkey and the commemoration of the Anzac Services. Were putting a Party together and we want you to join us. The date is set for the 23rd of April and more information will follow as it comes in. €30 per person will buy you unlimited alcohol including Vodka, Gin, Bourbon, Beer, Raký, red and white wine. Its going to be huge



TURKISH BATH (HAMAM)
Available anytime in Istanbul or on the 26th of April in Kusadasi

PRICE: € 15.00 per person

Taking a Turkish bath firstly involves relaxing in a room (known as the warm room) that is heated by a continuous flow of hot dry air allowing the bather to perspire freely. Bathers may then move to an ever hotter room (known as the hot room) before splashing themselves with cold water. After performing a full body wash and receiving a massage, bathers finally retire to the cooling-room for a period of relaxation.

For those that are only coming for the Anzac Services or are unable to take the time off we offer the Hamam in Istanbul. For those that are coming to enjoy Turkey as well as the Anzac Services we offer the Hamam in the Beautiful coastal city of Kusadasi
